Usually, don't translate temperature units, i.e., leave this empty. But if for whatever reason, a temperature unit needs to be translated, then all three entries need to be set. So set either all or none. |

This is a list of WMO weather code and a human readable description.
If an entry is an empty string, then it will be computed from weather_code, weather_level, weather_icy, and weather_shower, as a list with commas, e.g., for WMO=0, it would be "clouds, none" and for WMO=67, "rain, heavy, freezing".
If a full translation is given here, then it must be given after the WMO code followed by a semicolon, for consistency checking (the index is not the WMO code, so things could get mixed up).
If no translation is given, the WMO code may be dropped, but a ";" must remain, because empty items are removed by Android, making this array shorter.
The default translation has full entries, i.e., with WMO code and full description, so that you know what to translate. |

The grid of letters used by NeatGridClock. Any word used in time_grid_except, time_grid_min, and time_grid hour must be in this grid, either horizontally or vertically, otherwise it will not be shown.
This is rendered with a monospace font.
There are no hard contraints on width or height. But lines should be equally long, more than eight lines will make the clock quite large, and the clock should be rendered roughly square, if possible (letter aspect ratio (for monospace font) is roughtly 8:11). Only letters should be used, no digits nor punctuation marks (they may look ugly in monospace), but diacritical marks are fine. |
---|
time_grid_base | |
|
|
|
| |
Full time lookups: starts with a 24h time (rounded to 60/time_grid_min.length) minutes), then the full sequence of words. E.g., "00:05 zero five" will use "zero five" at 00h05.
Minutes will be rounded according to the number of entries in time_grid_min: if that array has 12 entries, minutes here are 00, 05, 10, etc. If it has 8 entries, minutes here are 00, 08, 15, etc.
If nothing is found in this exception list, then time_grid_min is used as a pattern, and time_grid_hour is inserted for = or + or -.
Entries without a matching time are ignored. I.e., an entry with no time, e.g., "nothing" can be added to make this array non-empty, to avoid that time_word_except is used instead.
NeatGridClock uses this if it has any entries, otherwise it uses time_word_except. |

Minutes: This can have any number of entries, but more than 60 does not make sense. It is indexed with ((minute * time_grid_min.length) / 60). The most reasonable number of entries is 12 for five minute steps, or maybe 8 for 7.5 minute steps.
NeatGridClock ignores the order of words in these strings, but simply searches for words in the grid and highlights them. Numbers 1, 2, 3, ..., 9 preceding a word define which word in the grid farthest from the top-left corner will be highlighted (if there are multiple possibilities).
Instead, NeatWordClock ignores numbers and prints words in order.
For =, the hour string is inserted. For +, the hour string for hour+1 and for -, the hour string for hour-1.
NeatGridclock indexes this first, but if nothing is found, indexes time_word_min. |

Hours: this can have between 12 and 24 entries. It is indexed with hour first, then if nothing is found (index out of range or empty string), it is indexed again with (hour % 12). The result is inserted via =, +, or - from the min array.
NeatGridclock indexes this first, but if nothing is found or is empty, it indexes time_word_hour. |
